Aquaria is officially the first drag queen to ever grace the Met Gala. Aquaria wore a black ribbon gown by John Galliano with fishnets underneath, per Paper Mag. Her white wig was complimented by her lime green eyeshadow and crystallized, clawed gloves.
The 23-year-old may have made history as the first, but she was not the only drag queen to step in front of the spotlight on Monday. Fellow “Drag Race” winner Violet Chachki arrived later on wearing Moschino.
