Nicholas Brendon has reportedly been charged with domestic violence pertaining to an Oct. 2017 arrest.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actor has been charged by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, according to TMZ. Specifically, he is believed to be facing one count of felony corporal injury to a spouse.

Brendon, now 48, was originally arrested in Oct. 2017. According to jail records, per People, he was charged with violating a protective order and felony inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He was released the following day on $50,000 bail, per KMIR-TV.

He allegedly pulled his girlfriend’s hair and yanked her arm at a hotel in Palm Springs, according to reports from The Desert Sun.

“He was with his girlfriend and they got into an argument,” Palm Springs Police Sgt. William Hutchinson told KESQ-TV. “During the argument at the bar, he pulled her arm and then violently pulled her by her hair.”

Brendon famously played the humorous and sarcastic Xander Harris on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.
