Proud dad and husband George Clooney is opening up about life at home with his family.
In an interview with “Today” about his new Hulu limited series “Catch-22”, the actor is signing the praises of his wife, international human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney.
“She’s taking ISIS to court for the first time anybody’s taken ISIS to court,” he says of his wife’s accomplishments. “She’s defending the Yazidis for the genocide that they experienced, she’s working on trying to get the Reuters’ journalists out of Myanmar. She’s doing all that and she’s also an incredible mom and a pretty great wife too.”
“I feel like I hit the jackpot,” he adds.
With the couple’s twins Ella and Alexander about to turn 2, Clooney isn’t afraid of “the terrible twos”.
“They’re good kids, they’re happy kids. They laugh a lot,” he explains. A notorious prankster, the doting dad says the kids have already started pulling pranks of their own, but it’s discovering their individual personalities that Clooney is relishing in.
“You can see it because they’re twins, but you really come out with the personalities they’re born with,” he explains. “They’re just completely different personalities. They’re fun and smart. They already can do all their ABCs in Italian and in English and I can’t do that.”
