Marie Osmond Confirmed To Replace Sara Gilbert On ‘The Talk’

Global’s “The Talk” is about to say goodbye to one panellist and hello to another.

Series creator Sara Gilbert will be departing the show at the end of the current season, and the show has finally found her replacement: Marie Osmond.

Fans of “The Talk” are no stranger to the legendary singer. Osmond has appeared as a guest co-host on the show close to 40 times since 2013.

According to TV Line, Osmond will join co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve and Carrie Ann Inaba at the start of Season 10 in September.

“It is such a joy for me to be joining ‘The Talk’ in September. After guest co-hosting and appearing as a guest on the show throughout the years, I am thrilled to now call this my day job,” Osmond said in a statement.

Last month, Osmond and her brother Donnie announced that their long-running Las Vegas residency will be coming to an end in November.
