Katy Perry went from grand elegance to comfort junk when she changed from a chandelier outfit on the Met steps to a hamburger costume at the Met Gala 2019 after-party. But the question everyone is asking is, which one was more difficult to walk in?

The “Bon Appetit” singer was posed the unusual question when she appeared on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, where she discussed the varying levels of difficulty she faced during the fashion extravaganza on Monday.

“One of my favourite comedians is Mr. Bean, so all night, I would kinda fall down a little bit, and be like, ‘I can’t get up!’ And everybody was like, ‘Oh no, there’s a cheeseburger down in the corner.'”

The chandelier ensemble, which was designed by Italian luxury fashion house Moschino and included 40-pounds worth of decorative hanging lights, proved a lot tougher to get around in.

“I had to really walk a straight line,” she said. “And I wanted to say ‘hi’ to all my friends, but even if someone looked at me long enough I’d start to teeter. I was nervous I was gonna timber at one point.”

Perry then surprised the hosts with some fashion-related gifts, including a pair of bedazzled cheeseburger shoes for Robin Roberts, and a fetching pair of scented pink jellies for Michael Strahan.
