The band’s guitarist was shredding during a solo performance of the song in Milan on Wednesday. Hammett, 56, slipped on his wet guitar pedal and fell onstage. Normally, it would be fan footage of such an incident generating attention on social media. Hammett got ahead of the chaos and posted a close-up video of the fall himself.

“Ummm, I slipped on my wet wah pedal,” Hammett tweeted on Wednesday. “It rained so much I felt like I was playing guitar in the shower. #MetInMilan.”
