Sinead O’Connor’s disappearance over the weekend led to a full-scale police manhunt until she was eventually discovered, safe and sound, but a new message the singer posted on Facebook is placing her current mental state in question.
In the lengthy rant, the “Nothing Compares 2 U”; singer blames her ex-husband John Reynolds and their son Jake, claiming their actions toward her have forced her to “run to another continent just to stay alive.”; (O’Connor has reportedly been living in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette for the past few months.)

In addition, O’Connor admits she has a “suicidal compulsion”; and blasts her family, insisting that “you all abandoned me FOR BEING SUICIDAL.”;
She also threatens legal action. “Every one of you had better pray I die,”; she writes. “Because I’m suing the f***ing lot of you for what you’ve done to me if I manage to live through it.”;

O’Connor continues, referencing specific incidents from the past — including the death of her mother and abortions — and issues more threats.
“I will see you all in court. I want damages. I have been unable to work. I have lost last year’s income and this year’s. I have had enormous medical expenses, and enormous trauma because of your torturing of me. As I said. You f***ing best pray God kills me because unlike my poor mother, I will not let this drop.”;
