The world can see Anne Hathaway’s big moment as she receives her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.
Variety is livestreaming Hathaway’s Walk of Fame Ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard. The star is another addition to Hathaway’s list of impressive accolades, such as her Academy Award, Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award.

She told the publication she is having a hard time digesting the accolade. “Mainly, I’m just always confused about all this,” she laughs. “That’s kind of my go-to emotion for things like this.
Do not be surprised if Hathaway talks about gender inequality in Hollywood during her ceremony. She recently championed female directors while speaking with Variety: “I used to get a list of directors and I’d say there are no women and you’d hear, ‘Oh there just aren’t any that are right for this’ or ‘They don’t have the experience.’”

“You felt like you were screaming into the wind back then. There were so any harmful myths that were in place,” she continued. “It’s been such a satisfying thing the last year and a half to watch people collectively put those myths to rest.”
Hathaway has a busy couple of years ahead of her. “It was a good year in terms of artistic growth,” she said. Hathaway is preparing for the impending release of “The Hustle” on May 10 and filming “The Witches” with Octavia Spencer, while “The Last Thing He Wanted” and “Dry Run” are in post-production.
