SPOILER ALERT: If you still haven’t seen tonight’s season finale of “NCIS”; – or live on the west coast, where it has yet to air — then stop reading immediately unless you want the surprise of a major bombshell to be ruined for you.

Still here? Then let’s talk about what just happened on Michael Weatherly’s final episode of “NCIS,”; which brought us the revelation that DiNozzo and former team member Ziva David (Cote de Pablo, who left the show in 2013) have a daughter together.

That bombshell was preceded by a literal one when Ziva was seemingly blown to bits in an explosion, with officials delivering the girl — named Tali — to her father after Ziva’s apparent death.

“Were you and Ziva an item the whole time?,” asks McGee (Sean Murray), to which DiNozzo responds: “We had a … connection, and obviously a very fond farewell.”;

While tonight’s episode bids goodbye to DiNozzo, fans won’t have to wait long to see Weatherly; come fall, he’ll be starring in new CBS drama “Bull”;, based on Dr. Phil’s pre-Oprah days as a jury consultant.
