Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson hustle for James Corden’s affection on “The Late Late Show”.
“The Hustle” co-stars teamed up for a hilarious segment on Thursday’s episode of Corden’s late-night talk show.
The video takes place in a restaurant during Corden’s birthday celebration and Hathaway arrived first. The actress presented Corden with a sentimental gift, a framed photo of the two. Then walked in Wilson, who unveiled a massive portrait of Corden. The talk show host was depicted as a Greek God with a miniature version of Wilson cradled in his arms.
What followed was a game of one-up-womanship. Hathaway and Wilson took turns expressing their best friend love for Corden with increasingly large gestures. Both women presented birthday cakes and intricate song-and-dance numbers.
All the attention was too much for Corden, who eventually told “The Hustle” co-stars to buzz off. Hathaway and Wilson conceded, only to emerge onstage with one final song number.
Hathaway and Wilson star in the “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” remake “The Hustle”, which is out in movie theatres now.
