Drake is not just purchased a shiny new private jet, he’s also entered into a business partnership with Canadian air-cargo service Cargojet.
Last week, the “God’s Plan” rapper unveiled his new private jet. “No rental, no timeshare, no co-owners,” Drizzy bragged while showing off the massive aircraft vehicle on Instagram. The jet is painted blue with gold trim. The OVO-branded jet features the owl and praying-hand logos, plus the words “Air Drake.”
Viewers of the video he posted were treated to a brief glimpse at the jet’s interior. It boasts plush couches and chairs, tables, a giant flat-screen TV and custom striped carpeting.
The plane is part of a new partnership between Drake and the Canadian cargo company.
“We are very excited to partner with Drake as our ambassador and assisting him with his logistical needs and requirements,” said Cargojet president and CEO Ajay Virmani. “We have had a lengthy relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are both great Canadian successes, we are thrilled to be partnering together.”
“Supporting homegrown businesses has always been a top priority of mine, so when an opportunity came up to get involved with a great Canadian company I was honoured to do so,” added Drake.
Following Tuesday’s announcement, both Drake and Cargojet celebrated the news via social media.
Meanwhile, Drake’s new toy does not come cheap. Aircraft charter company executive Ryan Troxell estimated, per E! News, the value of the Boeing 767 cargo jet at between $80 million to $100 million
