Robert De Niro heads to the U.K. town of Bolton as he stars in Warburtons’ latest ad campaign.

De Niro appears alongside company chairman Jonathan Warburton in the clip, which sees him pay homage to his role in the 1990 Martin Scorsese flick “GoodFellas” by naming the bagels “GoodBagels”.

The actor, who is filmed arriving at Bolton train station before taping up a security guard and stealing a lorry full of bagels in the video, says in the clip, “Watch the dough roll in.”

“Bada bing, bada boom – you’re looking at the new boss of Bolton.”

De Niro adds, according to The Bolton News: “It was a pleasure to fly to the U.K. to film this ad with the Warburtons family, and star alongside Jonathan. Getting into the bagel business has been great fun, and I hope everyone enjoys the final cut.”

Mr. Warburton continues, “As an iconic New Yorker, Robert De Niro knows his way around a bagel so it’s great to have his seal of approval.”
