If Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t return for another “X-Men”; movie, then neither will her co-stars.
That’s the bombshell dropped by LJaw in a new cover story in Entertainment Weekly featuring “X-Men: Apocalypse”;, with Lawrence and the rest of the cast discussing the upcoming mutant superhero sequel.
“Even if this is the last one for me or for other people, you just are sort of grateful for the experience,”; says star James McAvoy, who plays X-Men leader Dr. Charles Xavier. “I know I can speak for a lot of the other guys as well that it’s been a really positive experience for us professionally and socially and personally.”
Lawrence, however, admits that she remains on the fence about the prospect of resurrecting Mystique for one more movie.
“I would love to come back,” she says, adding that she’s coming to view her time as more precious. “You realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don’t know.”
This is followed by a pause, with Lawrence adding: “I shouldn’t be that honest.”;
She also tells EW: “Fassbender and McAvoy and I were all talking. Like, “Will you come back?’ “I dunno.’ “I’ll come back, if you come back.’ Fox should be terrified because the deal we made was like if one of us doesn’t come back, none of us are.”;
