Global’s “FBI” is saying goodbye to one of its leads after its first season finale.

On Tuesday night, following the finale, star Sela Ward confirmed on Twitter that she is leaving the series.

During the season finale, Ward’s character, special agent Dana Mosier, tendered her resignation.

The 62-year-old actress has only signed a one-season deal to appear on the show, coming aboard in the second episode, taking over from Connie Nielsen, who led the series after starring in the pilot.

“FBI” was renewed for a second season in January 2019. The series also stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto and Ebonée Noel.
