Lindsay Lohan is striking back, despite Paris Hilton saying she wishes now she hadn’t said anything about Lindsay Lohan during her recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”.
“She’s beyond, lame and embarrassing,” Hilton said of Lohan.
Now, in a statement to Us Weekly, a rep for Lohan hit back, saying, “Obviously, Paris needs to feel relevant and is desperate for attention.”
Appearing on Cohen’s SiriusXM show “Radio Andy” on Wednesday morning, Hilton was asked whether she had any regrets about anything she said on TV the night before.
“I wish I did plead the fifth, actually,” Hilton said of her own comment.
Hilton was also questioned about the Lohan comment in an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Jenny McCarthy Show”.
Asked about why she said what she did, Hilton explained, “I was really nervous to go on the show… I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know what he was going to ask. At that moment I didn’t even know, he’s like, ‘Say three nice things.’ I didn’t know what to say.”
She added, “And I feel bad now.”
Following her rep’s comments and Hilton’s subsequent remarks, Lohan herself responded directly to Hilton in a surprising way.
Accompanying a throwback photo of herself and Hilton that she posted on Instagram, Lohan wrote, “#beyond friends are true. Love @parishilton congratulations on your new song!”
