Rachael Ray is getting real about the wrath of the Beyhive.
On Thursday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live”, the celebrity chef joined host Andy Cohen and discussed the time Beyonce fans believed she was the “Becky with the good hair” Queen Bey sang about in her hit track “Sorry”.
The tune quickly turned infamous when it was learned “Becky” was her husband Jay-Z’s mistress, fashion designer Rachel Roy.
Beyonce fans confused Ray and Roy, which ultimately flattered Ray.
“I was shocked!” Ray told Cohen. “It was Rachel Roy, who is a fabulous, beautiful clothing designer. At the end of the day, I go home, and I’m cooking dinner in King Kong slippers. I’m not hanging out with these people.”
“I mean, I have to say, I thought it was a little flattering that people thought I even was like in that world! ‘Oh, yeah, I hang out with them all the time!'” she joked.
“Sorry” was featured on Beyonce’s 2016 album Lemonade.
