Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro Advances ‘Deep State’ Conspiracy Theory: ‘This Will Be True Reality TV’

Fox News continues to echo President Trump’s claims that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report not only completely exonerates him (it actually points to numerous examples of the president obstructing justice) while also advancing the evidence-free conspiracy theory that the investigation was spawned by the “deep state” in an attempted coup to unseat the president.

On the latest edition of her Saturday-night Fox News show “Justice with Judge Jeanine”, host Jeanine Pirro continued to make even more outrageous claims, alleging that these anti-Trump government operatives are about to be exposed.

“They’re not going quietly into the night, ’twill be a joy to watch,” Pirro said in her “Opening Statement” segment.

“Grab your popcorn, Junior Mints or whatever makes you happy,” she continued. “The real show is about to begin. This will be true reality TV. No scripts, no rehearsals, just a gang of criminals pointing fingers at each other to save their own hides. A version of true crime and the reality show ‘Survivor’. The deep state exposed.”

According to Pirro, nearly a dozen former and current FBI officials will soon be apprehended for their alleged crimes — including former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, attorney James Baker, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

At the head of this so-called “gang,” claimed Pirro, is former FBI director James Comey, whom she described as “the head of his own crime family,” accusing him of running “the upper echelon of the FBI like an organized criminal enterprise.”

Meanwhile, that same night “SNL” served up a heaping plate of mockery at Pirro’s expense, with cast member Cecily Strong reprising her hilarious martini-swilling impression of the former judge in a return to “Weekend Update” — watch:
