Boy George was in no mood for talkback on “The Voice Australia” this weekend.
On Sunday night’s Blind Auditions episode, the judges heard from singer Daniel Shaw, who wowed the room and earned an impressive four-chair turn.

While praising Shaw, George asked if he plays guitar.
“I can play guitar, but no one really cares if I play guitar,” Shaw responded.
Apparently taking offence to that comment, George said, “No-one cares? I do. I think after that comment, go with Delta [Goodrem]. ‘No-one cares if I play guitar’ It’s a weird thing to say.”
He then walked off the stage.
Later in the show, George returned to his chair to continue with the auditions and explained to a producer that there had simply been a misunderstanding.
“I just misheard what was said, and I just went, you know when you go in the moment? I am kind of fine now and I’m a bit embarrassed. I’m cool, I’m not annoyed, I was just annoyed in the moment. I’ve got to go and find somewhere not to be embarrassed. I’ll have to be tied to my seat,” he said. “I had a string of nos, and I had a bit of a diva moment. Sometimes you just care too much, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”
