The “Sin City” actress said she was implored to hide her body from men. Alba, now 38, shared her story at this year’s Goop health summit in Los Angeles. “I was meant to feel ashamed if I tempted men,” she expressed. “Then I stopped eating a lot when I became an actress. I made myself look more like a boy so I wouldn’t get as much attention.”

Alba’s family urged her to not wear jeans that would highlight her “voluptuous” body and “booty.” The Golden Globe-nominated actress felt “preyed upon” by men. “Nothing about being successful in this business is easy,” she expressed. “You can’t be bitter.”
