“Orange is the New Black” is coming to an end after seven incredible seasons and Netflix has finally revealed when.
In a video announcement, the streaming service offered a first look at the final season of the acclaimed hit, along with teasing its July 26 release date.
With Piper out of prison, she must now readjust to ordinary life. Meanwhile, those left in lockup are dealing with the same corruption and injustices they always have.
“Taystee’s friendship with Cindy still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, Gloria and her kitchen staff are confronted by the hard truth of Polycon’s newest profit stream, while others chase drugs or dreams and grapple with the reality of their place in this world,” Netflix describes.
“Orange is the New Black”, created by Jenji Kohan, first premiered in 2013.
The series stars Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne and more.
