Spoiler Alert: ‘Chicago’ Franchise Says Goodbye To Three Stars

Global’s “Chicago” franchise said goodbye to three of its stars on Wednesday night.




The season finales of three Dick Wolf dramas aired this week and fans saw the departures of Jon Seda from “Chicago P.D.” and Colin Donnell and Norma Kuhling from “Chicago Med”.

On “Chicago P.D.”, Seda’s Detective Antonio Dawson finds himself in a difficult place, as Ruzek decides to turn himself in rather than give up Antonio and Voight. Facing the sad and confusing situation, Antonio goes to his car and takes a pill.

Meanwhile, on “Chicago Med” Donnell’s Connor learns that his father died from an overdose. Kuhling’s Ava reaches out to comfort him and get their relationship back on track, but Connor tells her, ““We’re finished. That’s it!” leaving their storyline on a down note.

Seda was one of the remaining original cast members of “Chicago P.D.” and made appearances in “Chicago Fire” and “Justice”.

Kuhling joined “Chicago Med” in Season 2, while Donnell was part of the original cast when the series first premiered in 2015.
