As the “Nashville” season finale wraps up, a beloved series comes to an end.

The series finale had us on the edge of our seats as they pulled all the stops with fan favourite Juliette. The episode begins with Juliette in Los Angeles for presswork before the Oscars as she tries to push for the win. Just as things begin to look up, a reporter asks her about her former manager Jeff Fordham and whether or not she was on the roof the night that he died. Along with Juliette being sued for wrongful death by Fordham’s sister, Juliette comes clean about the incident on a public scale. The episode ends Juliette receiving a call from Avery telling her that he and Cadence are still there for her. With that, she hops on the next flight home which… goes missing?!

On the other side of the story, the episode finds Rayna worried as Maddie connects with a producer who previously got a little too handsy with her back in the day. Rayna then decides to go public about his sexual abuse in an open letter. Maddie seems to not realize the danger that she’s in until the producer pours her a drink and says, “I thought you wanted to be a grown-up and have a real grown-up career.”; At that point Deacon barges in, saving Maddie from being sexually assaulted. Deacon’s heroics landed him a kiss from Rayna at her charity concert.

After the show’s shocking cancellation, fans have taken to Twitter demanding the show come back for another season. With that being said, it’s hard to believe the series finale ended with Juliette’s flight disappearing, leaving every fan with a dropped jaw and absolutely no resolution. Perhaps Lionsgate is hinting at the revival of the series? Well  this tweet seems to suggest just that!
