Ed Sheeran has released his brand new track “Cross Me” featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock, now complete with the music video a month after the lyric video dropped.
The song is taken off the singer’s upcoming album No.6 Collaborations Project, which is set to be released on July 12.
Lyrics to Sheeran’s latest track include, “If you cross her (anything she needs she can call me)/Then you cross me (don’t worry about her that’s my seed that’s all me)/And nobody’s coming close, yeah/And I think that you should know that.”
“If you cross her (anything she needs she can call me)/Then you cross me (don’t worry about her that’s my seed that’s all me)/So come on and let it go/Oh I think that you should know.”
The track comes after the 28-year-old singer announced on Instagram that he would soon be releasing a new album, but this time every song would be a collaboration with another artist.
Sheeran explained, “Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called No.5 Collaborations Project. Since then, I’ve always wanted to do another, so I started No.6 on my laptop when I was on tour last year.”
With less than a month before its release, Sheeran has released No. 6’s tracklist and its collaborating artists.
The star-studded album will feature Khalid, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Stormzy, Yebba, Travis Scott, Eminem, 50 Cent, Young Thug, J His, Ella Mai, Paulo Londra, Dave, Money, H.E.R., Meek Mill, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Skrillex, Bruno Mars, Chris Stapleton and previously announced Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber.
