Harrison Ford is remembering his good friend behind the costume.
The “Star Wars” star was on “The Tonight Show” Thursday night and talked about the recent death of Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the space adventure franchise.
“He was a really sweet man; Nice man,” Ford recalled. “He had a hard time physically. It was really hard for him to do what he did for us, all of us, and he did it with real dignity and class. He was a really neat guy. I miss him.”
Also during the interview, Ford and Fallon had something of a joke-off, with each of them taking turns telling each other some pretty elaborate jokes to give the other a good laugh.

Fallon also asked about whether Ford had fun doing his first ever voice role in an animated film for the upcoming “The Secret Life of Pets 2”.
“Yeah I guess so! Nobody’s ever asked me before but I enjoyed this one,” Ford said.
