Kanye West Defends Trump Support To David Letterman; Admits He’s Never Voted In His Life

David Letterman is pressing Kanye West on his outspoken support for Donald Trump.

According to The Daily Beast, in an upcoming episode of Letterman’s Netflix show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction”, he gets into a conversation with West about Trump and politics.

“This is like my thing with Trump—we don’t have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel,” West says, explaining that wearing his red “Make America Great Again” hat is “not about politics.”

West adds that he is simply trying to break what he claims is a stigma faced by Trump supporters.

“Did you vote for Trump?” Letterman asks.

“I’ve never voted in my life,” West admits.

Letterman counters, “Then you don’t have a say in this.”

Adding that Trump voters are “treated like enemies of America because that’s what they felt,” West asks, “Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat?”

Letterman asks who is doing most of the bullying right now in America, to which West responds, “Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!”

The new episode of “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with Kanye West premieres along with four others on May 31.
