Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert have no problem getting extremely close with each other.
Appearing on Global’s “The Late Show” on Thursday, O’Brien took Colbert up on a challenge to get in his “personal space.”

The two late night hosts each stuck their heads inside opposite ends of a small cardboard box with a camera inside.
“Thanks for joining me in here, this is nice,” Colbert said, to which O’Brien replied, “I wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
Colbert continued, describing O’Brien as a kind of mentor and asking him what insight he will gain with 11 more years as a late night host.
“You’re gonna learn, never humiliate a guest,” O’Brien told him.
The two went on to attempt to cry on command, leading them to sing a rendition of the Irish classic “Danny Boy”.
