Director David Fairehead’s upcoming documentary “Armstrong” chronicles the the inspiring life story of Neil Armstrong, the first human being to step foot on the Moon.
A new trailer for the doc has just been unveiled, with the new film featuring never-before-seen footage detailing the astronaut’s journey to space, from his early family life to taking his “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Filmed with the cooperation of the late astronaut’s family — including his two sons, Rick and Mark — “Armstrong” promises new insight into both the Gemini 8 and Apollo 11 missions, including the challenges that came with Armstrong’s fame after he returned to Earth.
Harrison Ford lends his voice to the stunning feature, narrating the inspiring true story; coincidentally, just last year, Ford’s “Blade Runner 4029” co-star Ryan Gosling starred as Armstrong in Damien Chazelle’s biopic “First Man”.
“Armstrong” hits big screens and on-demand on July 12.
