Donald Trump Attacks Jussie Smollett: Leslie Jones Snaps Back That Women ‘Losing Their Rights To Their Own Bodies’ Is A Bigger Issue

Just when you thought you had heard the last of the Jussie Smollett case, Donald Trump has brought it back up again.

The president took to Twitter on Saturday where he wrote, “In addition to great incompetence and corruption, The Smollett case in Chicago is also about a Hate Crime. Remember, ‘MAGA COUNTRY DID IT!’ That turned out to be a total lie, had nothing to do with ‘MAGA COUNTRY.’ Serious stuff, and not even an apology to millions of people!”

He then went onto retweet pieces that promote his trade deals and the “small weapons” fired by North Korea, “which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me.”

The 16 counts against Smollett for staging the attack against himself were dismissed in March. On Thursday, a judge made the 250 case file pages public. Nothing has stood out, but a further 600 pages from the Chicago PD will be released next week.

Since the case has been dismissed, this would count as the third time Trump has brought up Smollett. The first right after the news broke and again at a rally in Wisconsin on the same day.

“Saturday Night Live” star Leslie Jones had something to say about Trump’s comments suggesting that there are other problems facing the country that he should be more worried about.

“You about the dumbest piece of s**t ever!!” her rant started. “You worried about MAGO COUNTRY, WHILE MILLIONS OF WOMEN ARE LOSING THEIR RIGHTS TO THEIR OWN BODIES!! GO HAVE A BIG MAC IDIOT AND GET THE F**K OFF TWITTER!!”

Jones also explains that she wrote “MAGA” as “MAGO” because it is “short for maggot.”
