According to CinemaBlend, while speaking at a Q&A at the Cannes Film Festival, the actor suggested that he may be turning the 1986 classic “Cobra” into a new streaming series.

“That [conceit] was what if Bruce Springsteen had a gun? That was rock n’ roll meets drama,” he said of the film. “That should have been another franchise because that character was so cool. And I blew it. My personal life got in the way.”

He then added, “But we’re trying to bring it back as a streaming TV series. Bring out the zombie squad. I’m long gone, but the idea is really good.”

Not much else is known about the potential reboot, but in the original film, Stallone played LAPD Lieutenant Marion Cobretti, code-named Cobra, who was a part of an elite division called the Zombie Squad.
