Anne Hathaway is having the last laugh.
In response to John Krasinski, an outspoken fan of “The Devil Wears Prada”, and his ongoing joke about marrying star Hathaway instead of his wife, and Hathaway’s “Prada” co-star, Emily Blunt, the Oscar-winner is playing along.
During an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show”, while promoting “The Quiet Place” in 2018, Krasinski exclaimed his love for the film, “It’s one of those things that back in the day, us elderly people used to channel surf. Nobody does that anymore.”
“When we first met, I was like, ‘I just want to get it out of the way—I’m a huge fan of yours,'” Krasinski told host Graham Norton of meeting Blunt. “I was full stalker-status. I was like, ‘Hey, you want to go out on a date with me?'”
He added, “I couldn’t get Annie and so I was like, ‘Ohhhh…'”
And Hathaway had the perfect response, “John, I’m only with Adam because I couldn’t get Emily.”
Krasinski has admitted to having seen “The Devil Wears Prada” more than “72” times.
