Ali Wong has “too much” going on, between starring in a new film and touring… with her kids.
The “Always Be My Maybe” star is on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, and while stopping in, she shares the difficulty of going around the country performing stand-up shows with her two children in tow.
“When I do the stand-up, that’s like a vacation, being on-stage,” she jokes. “Because being with them is so hard. They’re so heavy now! And I know everyone says that about their kids, but it’s weird, kids double in size every couple months.”
Wong adds, “I haven’t been on this show in a year. If you tripled in size since the last time I saw you, it’d be really awkward.”
The 37-year-old also talks about her upcoming romantic comedy, in which she gets to “kiss a lot of men.”
Wong teases, “I kiss Daniel Dae Kim. I kiss Keanu Reeves. I basically made Netflix spend all this money on a movie just so I could kiss Daniel Dae Kim and Keanu Reeves.”
Behind Wong and DeGeneres, pictures appear on the screen showing the actress kissing Kim in the movie and then smiling afterward.
“What you see on my face, that is a grown woman experiencing joy, right there,” Wong points out. “Pure joy.”
