Jimmy Kimmel’s righthand man, Guillermo Rodriguez, has made his way to Toronto.
In honour of the Raptors finally making it in the NBA Finals, Rodriguez has been filming for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” during Wednesday’s NBA Media Day.
In a bit sure to be seen on an upcoming episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, the late-night star tried to convince the Raptors’ small forward OG Anunoby to take a shot of maple syrup.
After breaking out a tiny maple leaf-shaped bottle, Rodriguez poured the sticky substance into a shot glass for Anunoby.
“It’s a Canadian shot,” he said before pouring himself one.
Anunoby, however, declined the shot, claiming he was allergic. Rodriguez’s solution was to drink both sugary shots.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez had some more antics on display, including cracking up Golden State Warriors player Alfonzo McKinnie with his misunderstanding of the difference between a “threepeat” and a “threesome.” Watch:
