Host Arisa Cox confirmed the exciting news on Twitter on Thursday.
“These past seven seasons have been such an incredible ride, and none of it would have been possible without you, the best fan community on the planet,” Cox said. “I mean that.”
She continued: “The last seven years, we’ve seen 104 houseguests spend a total of 496 days in our ‘Big Brother Canada’ house over 206 episodes.”
Cox added, “I couldn’t be prouder of the work and the love our team has put into this show. I want to thank everyone who has supported us, and that’s why I couldn’t be more excited to announce we are coming back for an eighth season. So get ready, Canada!”
Ten weeks earlier, Dane became part of the best secret alliance in “BBCAN” history. Together with Adam Pike, Anthony Douglas, and Mark Drelich, the self-named Pretty Boys ruled the roost throughout the season, picking off the competition while keeping their alliance under wraps.
Rupert sat down with legendary player and ET Canada special correspondent Ika Wong to discuss his incredible gameplay throughout Season 7.
Season 8 of “Big Brother Canada” will air in winter 2020.
Corus Entertainment also announced the return of “Private Eyes”, “Vikings”, “Property Brothers”, “Home To Win” and “Top Chef Canada”. ET Canada will also kick off its milestone 15th season in September.
