John Rambo is back with a vengeance in the first teaser for “Rambo: Last Blood”.

Sylvester Stallone reprises his iconic role for the franchise’s fifth outing. This time around, Rambo comes out of retirement to go up against a Mexican cartel after a friend’s daughter is kidnapped, facing off in what he hopes is his final action-packed stand. Though it may have been 11 years since Rambo’s last outing, the years in retirement have not mellowed the Vietnam War veteran and Special Forces soldier.

“I want them to know that death is coming and there is nothing they can do to stop it,” he menaces in the teaser amid explosions set to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ version of “Old Town Road”.

Stallone teased a behind-the-scenes look at the film’s action sequences in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday.

“This is how it in action scene is set up. Presently we are underground in a cave, obviously, it’s very dusty and difficult to breathe but it’s real…” he captioned the video.

Stallone was in Cannes earlier this month to show off never-before-seen images from the upcoming movie as he presented a newly-restored 4K presentation of the 1982 movie, “Rambo: First Blood”.

“Rambo: Last Blood” arrives in theatres on Sept. 20.
