NBA Players Play Ball As They Read Out ‘Mean Tweets’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

With the NBA finals starting up, Jimmy Kimmel did what Jimmy Kimmel does best- get the NBA stars to read “Mean Tweets”.

Kimmel gave some props to the Toronto Raptors at the top of his show. “Toronto is the first Canadian team to make the finals ever,” he said during his monologue. “Even though – did you know – the first game in NBA history was played in Toronto?  The Toronto Huskies versus the NY Knicks, it was back in 1946. The Knicks won game. It was the last time the Knicks won a game.”

And of course, there were Drake jokes. “No one is more excited about the Raptors being in the finals – than their number one superstar super fan. I haven’t seen Drake this happy since Etsy started selling sweaters.”

A special edition of the “Mean Tweets” segment took place which included jabs like, “Bradley Beal looks like if Usher had someone sit on his head while he was a baby” and “Dirk Nowitzki looks like his sweat smells like mop water and [chihuahua].”

“I don’t think I’ve heard that one before so props to my guy,” Nowitzki replied.
