Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to make Frogmore Cottage their dream family home.
Harry and Meghan, who welcomed baby Archie into the world earlier this month, are reportedly planning more renovations on the property including adding several new windows and doors and redoing the garden.
According to The Daily Mail, an outbuilding within the grounds of the cottage could also be in the works, as well as extra garden lighting.
The plans were published by The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in three separate applications asking for permission for “external redecoration” and consent for “external landscaping works.”
A source said: “Frogmore Cottage will be the perfect place for a royal prince to grow up with the Duke and Duchess.”
“The Duchess is very involved in the project and wanted the final design to be perfect for them and Archie so they have called the builders back again to sort some parts of the build out.”
“But this is not all, the couple are now looking at finishing off their garden to make it perfect for them and Archie.”
“Lighting is a key part of the scheme not just to make the garden pretty but also for security reasons.”
