Diners at a Las Vegas restaurant got a very special surprise on Sunday night.
Lady Gaga stopped by the NoMad Restaurant at the Park MGM and joined in on singer-trumpeter Brian Newman’s late-night “After Dark” show.
According to Billboard, Gaga arrived just before midnight and stayed at the restaurant for more than an hour and a half.
Gaga performed six songs with the band, including “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, and “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”.
“How’s everybody doing tonight?” Gaga asked, going up to the microphone. ”Well, I sang for two and half hours so this sh** we are about to do is f**king irresponsible.”
Earlier in the night, Gaga performed her Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano concert at Park MGM’s Park Theatre. She touched on her split from ex-fiance Christian Carino before diving into a performance of “Someone To Watch Over Me”. “So, last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger,” Gaga told the audience. “So tonight will be different.”
Newman has worked with Gaga in the past, co-producing her rendition of “La Vie En Rose” from the “A Star Is Born” soundtrack, and leading the band on her Cheek to Cheek album with Tony Bennett.
