Miley Cyrus Responds With Powerful Message After Being Groped And Forcefully Kissed By Stranger In Barcelona

Miley Cyrus had a frightening moment with a fan in Barcelona over the weekend.

The singer and her husband Liam Hemsworth were leaving their hotel in the Spanish city and were met by a swarm of adoring fans.

But as captured in a video posted to social media, one man actually grabbed Cyrus, put his arm around her neck, and then tried to kiss her as she pulled away.

I'm completely disgusted by this. SOME "FANS" (aka creepy as hell dudes) SHOULD KNOW WHAT PERSONAL SPACE MEANS! You should to RESPECT her. Who even allowed y'all to touch her and to kiss her like that? She got scared! Poor angel :( i hope she's okay after this situation, I'm scared to imagine what would happen if Liam wasn't with her. Security should work harder!!!!

Cyrus and another person, who appears to be a security guard, pushed the man away from her.

After the commotion, Hemsworth turned around and put his arm around Cyrus’ shoulder before they made their way into the waiting SUV.

Cyrus was in Barcelona to perform at the Primavera Sound Festival.

While Cyrus’ management had no comment when ET Canada reached out, on Tuesday she addressed the incident on Twitter, declaring that no matter who a woman is or what she’s wearing, it’s never okay for a woman to be “grabbed without her consent.”
