Chris Hemsworth poked fun at his friendship with Matt Damon once again during an interview for Australian talk show “The Project”.
Hemsworth, who has been busy promoting “Men in Black: International”, was asked about Damon getting dual citizenship.
The Aussie actor shared: “I tried to marry him and it was immediately squashed.”
He went on, according to the Daily Mail: “Don’t really want him there [in Australia]. Kind of steals a little bit of the limelight.”
Hemsworth also joked about using Damon’s name to make restaurant reservations.
The “Thor” star’s comments come after Damon’s rep denied the actor was buying a home near Hemsworth.
Despite rumours that his client was planning to flee the U.S. because of Donald Trump, Damon’s rep told the Associated Press, “He’s not moving out of the U.S,” Page Six reported.
