Kesha is finally back with brand new music.
Late Sunday night, the 32-year-old singer surprised fans with the release of her latest single “Rich, White, Straight, Men”.
Kesha teased the new song on Instagram hours before the release.
“Hey Animals, it’s Kesha. I just wanted to say hi, and I just got a mix of a song. And I just don’t want it to sit on my computer. So I kind of want to share,” she said in her Instagram Stories. “I don’t know where it’s gonna go or what it’s gonna be on, but I don’t want it to just sit on my computer.”
The song is a protest anthem, imagining a very different kind of world.
“What if life as we knew it was over? Guess what? God is a woman, I know her,” she sings, adding, “What if rich, white, straight men didn’t rule the world anymore?”
