Late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah took a swipe at Donald Trump once again Monday.
Colbert discussed the president’s London visit on “The Late Show”, showing pictures of him greeting the Queen with “a ceremonial fist pump.”
He also poked fun at him going for afternoon tea with Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, as well as finding it hilarious that Her Majesty gave Trump a book as a gift.
The Queen gave the president a first-edition copy of Winston Churchill’s World War II book, with Colbert joking in his Trump voice: “Look, thank you so much, but don’t tell me how it ends, all right. I really like that German Charlie Chaplin who invented the high five.”
Noah didn’t hold back on “The Daily Show” either, telling viewers: “That’s right, the Queen’s gift to Donald Trump was a book. Either she doesn’t know Trump or she’s trolling him.”
“It’s like giving Stevie Wonder a fish tank,” he added.
Noah also mocked Trump’s meeting with outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May Tuesday, saying: “We’ll check in on how things go tomorrow after he meets with Prime Minister Theresa May and gives her an extra-special: a book about World War II.”
