Miley Cyrus is giving a nod to the haters by clapping back at a negative review of her new album.
Cyrus released her second extended play She Is Coming on Friday and come Tuesday morning, the 26-year-old singer finally found a negative review of the project.
“I finally found a sh**ty review of SHE IS COMING,” she tweeted with a screenshot of the critical article. “My mom’s name is Tish,” she added with the not-so-friendly hashtags “#DoYourResearch #AfterYouSuckMyNut.”
Cyrus not-so-graciously thanked the reviewer for including links to purchase and stream She Is Coming. “Thanks for putting buy/stream link at the end of your shitty article,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Although I’m pretty sure everyone has bought and streamed but I’m sure it was helpful for those who are as out of touch as you are.”
The singer-songwriter continued to take aim at Highsnobiety‘s Sydney Gore by sharing a screenshot of a sentence from the article.
She Is Coming was met with generally positive reviews and was buoyed by songs like “Mother’s Daughter” and “Cattitude”. The six-song project includes collaborations with Swae Lee and Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah.
