Back in November, Bravo announced it was “very likely” that Lisa Vanderpump would not be returning for another season of Slice‘s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, and some recent comments from the 58-year-old reality star appear to back that up.
Speaking with The Daily Mail TV, the “Vanderpump Rules” star — who came to fame via “RHOBH” — says she has “no inclination” to return to the hit reality show.
Asked if she’s planning to return for the show’s upcoming 10th season, Vanderpump offered a candid response.
“I think they’ve made it pretty impossible for me to go back, frankly,” she replied. “So, no.”
The same holds true of whether she’ll be attending the season-nine reunion, which is reportedly set to film later this week.
“The objective of the reunion is to reunite, right? I have no inclination to reunite with any of the women that have been harassing me for 10 months now, so in all probability, no,” she said.
True to her word, Vanderpump was indeed a a no-show at the reunion show when filming commenced on Thursday, with Andy Cohen himself confirming to Anderson Cooper that she declined to turn up.
“The reunion is going great,” Cohen told the CNN anchor during a livestream from the set during a lunch break. “It’s major. Lisa Vanderpump’s not here.”
“Has she not been there at all for this reunion?” Cooper asked, with Cohen responding by smiling and raising his eyebrows.
“There’s major things happening,” he said cryptically. “There’s trouble afoot in Beverly Hills.”
In November 2018, a production source told E! News that while Vanderpump “will appear in the majority of episodes this season,” it appeared unlikely that she’d continue beyond that.
“Lisa has only filmed on a few occasions during the beginning of filming this season, and has been absent the remainder of the time,” a source told E! News. “She has been refusing to film and… her interactions with the ladies have been solely negative. Lisa has still not returned to filming and as of now has no plan to. It’s too far gone, and Lisa agrees that she shouldn’t return at this point.”
Added another source: “The rest of the cast is over her.”
“I’m going to see how this season plays out,” she responded when asked if this would be her final “Real Housewives” season. “This season was very difficult for me and I did find that I kind of floundered. It’s my ninth season and I had a very difficult year. After doing ‘Vanderpump Rules’, and opening a new business, things got very complicated. So I’m in most of the season but… it’s a bit complicated.”
ET Canada reached out to a rep for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, who responded: “There is so much great drama and fun still to come this season including the ladies’ trip to France, so before we focus on next season, let’s see where this one takes us.”
As promised, Vanderpump did not
