Alec Baldwin is about to be roasted.
The “Saturday Night Live” legend will act as the latest roastee in “The Comedy Central Roast Of Alec Baldwin”, which will be taped this summer in New York.
While the network has yet to reveal any further details, such as a taping date and airdate, along with who will be the roasters, Comedy Central did released a short teaser getting fans excited for the event.
“Getting roasted will be the greatest honours of my lifetime besides being a father, a husband, hosting ‘SNL’ 17 times, receiving Golden Globes, Emmys and working with Martin Scorsese,” Baldwin said of the roast in a statement.
Meanwhile, Executive Vice President of Talent and Development at Comedy Central, Jonas Larsen, says the upcoming show will be one for the books: “Alec Baldwin has done so many great things it will be a unique treat to spend a night focusing on everything he’d rather forget.”
Baldwin joins stars like Bruce Willis, Rob Lowe, Justin Bieber, James Franco, Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump, who have all been roasted on Comedy Central.
