The Black Eyed Peas are back, but this time with the help of Snoop Dogg.
The multi-platinum selling group debuted their brand new single “Be Nice” during Tuesday night’s episode of “Songland”, the new songwriting reality competition series produced by “The Voice” alum, Adam Levine.
Will.i.am joined Ester Dean, Ryan Tedder and Shane McAnally on the judging panel to share his thoughts on the work of four songwriters.
The final four contestants, Adam Friedman, John Lohan, Charisma Dixon and Ray Goren, all pitched their original tracks to producers in hopes that it would be handpicked as the next Black Eyed Peas single.
Thankfully for Friedman, his groovy, feel-good song “Be Nice” came out on top and was selected to be on the Grammy Award-winning group’s upcoming album.
“Be different! Be nice! Just smile! I promise it’ll change your life,” are just some of the positive, uplifting lyrics that are featured on the soon-to-be hit.
Along with the new single, the group debuted a captivating new music video, above.
