James Corden spoke about Donald Trump’s U.K. state visit during an appearance on Wednesday’s “Late Show”.
Corden, who is set to host the Tony Awards on Sunday, immediately insisted: “He’s not my president. He’s very much yours,” as Colbert questioned him about now living in Los Angeles.
He also discussed how the people of Britain see Trump.
Corden shared, “Well, I think they feel exactly as people do here. I’m sure a very vocal, sort of far-right group of people who think that, Yeah, this is absolutely right. And then there’s probably all the people I know… all of the people that I like and respect are like, ‘What?! What are you doing here?'”
The British star then took a swipe at the president for voicing his opinions on Brexit.
He quipped, “I saw a thing that said he’d been talking about Brexit. I’m like, ‘What is he… Up until yesterday, he thought Brexit was the most important meal of the day.
“He doesn’t know! It’s crazy. It’s madness, all of it.”
Corden also spoke about attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding during the appearance, insisting it was crazy how many cameras and flowers filled the church.
