Tennis Player Nicolas Mahut Consoled By Son Who Runs Onto Court After Loss

Few things will get a person through a trying time like the love of their kids.

In a beautifully emotional moment last week at the French Open, tennis player Nicolas Mahut took a seat on the sidelines after losing his match against Leonardo Mayer.

Seeing his father upset, Mahut’s young son Natanel runs onto the court to console him, giving him a hug and whispering something in his ear.

The clip shows Mahut then gathering his gear and walking off holding his son’s hand as the crowd cheers.

Even Mayer had to fight back the tears as he watched on.

The clip went viral online, and even Kelly Clarkson tweeted about how emotional it made her.

Mahut is most famous for playing in the record-breaking 11-hour match against John Isner at Wimbledon in 2010, ultimately losing that match as well.
