After beating the Golden State Warriors on the California team’s home turf in both Game 3 and Game 4 of the NBA Finals, the Toronto Raptors are clearly in a celebratory mood — and made that clear with a hilarious social-media video that puts a new spin on a classic sitcom.
Late Friday night following the team’s second win at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, the Raptors’ Twitter account shared a brief video that spoofed the iconic opening of “Full House” by substituting the faces of Raptors players for those of the sitcom’s stars.
“Successful business trip to the Bay Area,” reads the caption, followed by the team’s now-famous hashtag #WeTheNorth.
“Full House”, by the way, was set in San Francisco, right across the bay from Oakland, and the “Raptors House” video is seemingly meant to troll the Warriors as the Raptors head into the remaining games of the NBA Finals with a 3-1 lead.
