On Friday night, Jennifer Lopez took the stage of The Forum in Inglewood, California, the first date of her summertime “It’s My Party” tour in celebration of her 50th birthday.
The opening concert of her first tour in six years featured JLo tearing through an array of hits from throughout her career, spanning from 1999’s “Jenny From the Block” to her recently released single “Medicine”.
The first night of the tour was made even more special thanks to Lopez’s 10-year-old daughter, Emme, who joined her mom onstage for an adorable duet of “Limitless”, from the soundtrack to her movie “Second Act”.
Lopez shared video of the sweet mother-daughter moment on Twitter.
Following the duet, reports People, Emme (whom Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony) returned to the audience, where she watched the rest of the show alongside her mother’s fiancee, former New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, and his 11-year-old daughter, Ella.
In addition to Rodriguez, other celebs reported to be in attendance at the opening night of the tour included YouTuber Patrick Starrr and “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Zoe Saldana and her husband, Marco Perego.
Lopez’s “It’s Your Party: The Live Celebration” tour concludes July 27 in Miami; the sole Canadian dates on the tour are Toronto on July 7 and 8, and Montreal on July 10.
