A ventriloquist doll of Timothée Chalamet is making its rounds on the internet and it is truly terrifying.
While some have taken the moment to point out that “they didn’t even do his hair correctly”, most are just worried about how they are going to sleep tonight.
The doll was put up on eBay for $122,795 wearing the famous Golden Globes harness and thus its reign of terror began.
“I am gonna piss my pants,” wrote one person. While another added, “Have not been able to get this out of my mind for a whole 24 hours. Absolutely cursed.”
Others thought the doll looked more like different people. Justin Trudeau and Jonathan Cheban were both thrown into the mix.
And then there was the group of people who were excited by the dummy.
After being on eBay for a couple of days, the ventriloquist dummy-maker, Chris Alan, has broken his silence on the “nightmare” comments.
“I’m not naive when it comes to the Internet. I know what trolls are and all that stuff,” he told Vulture. “But I wasn’t really expecting to get trolled for a dummy. It was sort of weird. It’s been crazy.”
And Chalamet isn’t the only dummy Alan has made: “I did a dummy of Anderson Cooper, and, as a surprise for him to give to Kelly Ripa, I did one for her.”
Alan says has made about 25 ventriloquist dummies in total.
Either way, Jordan Peele just found his next lead.
